| vtx1300 | I'll take the type 2 blue one. 2003 Honda VTX 1300 |
| Warhawk | Cheri and I were able to go to the IMS show in Chicago in February. We saw all four of those concept bikes while we were up there. That last one, with the huge rear tire, is really an impressive machine. There is a blurb on the MCN (Motorcycle Consumer News) website about a new 1800cc Valk that is very similar to T2 in this article. I know lot of people are anxious to get an 1800cc Valk. |
| Retro | Although I am a huuuge fan of the VTwin, I really like the F6 design as a nice change. I was disappointed that Honda has all but abandoned future development on the Valk line since the Interstate would have been the next bike in my stable. It's nice to see, however, that Honda still values the F6 as one direction for their future.

| Retro | Looks like Type 1 won out!
It would be nice to see some of the other styles in products as well!

| Tigerman67 | So has anyone heard what Honda is going to do now. I believe they said the Rune was a limited production, one year bike. So they should be done making those bikes. Are they going to update the Valk with the 1800 six out of the Rune and keep making Valks or are they slowly going to let the Valk die out. Seems a shame to go to so much money and work to produce the Rune and not use some of the lessons learned to update the Valk.

| PJD | Well it's true. Honda has abandoned all multicylinder configurations (more than 2cyl) except for the Goldwing. I don't think I care for the direction Honda is headed, starting with the Rune and including the axing of the 1100 Shadows. PJ 1400 Intruder V-4 750 Magna |
| Retro | The 1100s are quite dead yet. The Sabre and Spirit are still in production. I'm hoping they're retooling the entire line for a kick-ass release of a new Shadow lineup for 2005. I know...wishful thinking......[:(] Ride safe! Retro "Life may begin at 30, but it get's real interesting around 150." |
| lostrider | Retro i think they are dropping the spirit this year, and yeah Honda has got some issues its working out with the Shadow and the Fireblade and a few others. They are taking a road far from what they know and a road that I think nobody really asked them to go down "If you're finding that you're taking traction all the way to the limit of your tires while street riding, our recommendation is for you to slow down before you hurt yourself, and get your butt to the track."
