Ducati's New 999
RetroCheck out Ducati's new 999 model. 30% fewer components than the previous model. That's either good because the bike assebles easier and more quickly, or bad because you have to replace the entire engine when the air filter element gets clogged ! http://www.motorcyclenewswire.com/news.cfm?newsid=2042 Ride safe! Oh to be young and nimble enough to ride a sportbike like the new 999, oh well ain't gona happen. Still if I ever get well off enough, I'd sure like to have a "Cruiser to ride with the Mrs." and then a older 600cc sportbike to go and "carve some local canyon's" with! The 999 has a very modern look to it, although the 916, ect. was a real beauty, it just is looking very outdated to me. Yep I'm a hardcore Motorcycle Race FAN, both AMA and WSC superbike, just too riddled with arthritis, ect. to be able to ride them anymore. My uncle is "Merlin Plumlee, one of the Crew Chief's for the Honda/AMA (HRC/AMA), superbike team, his rider this year is a good one, Nicky Hayden! Ride Often, BE SAFE & have FUN! KCLuYa gotta wonder about a bike made in "Bologna, Italy", LOL! But, on the plus side, if you just had to have one of these bikes, you could always go to Italy on a shopping trip. Ride safe & Sparkly! Lu
RetroWould that bike have too many nitrates for ya, Lu?? Ride safe! Retro
