| derwoodski | Hi everyone, just wanted to share the good news. On 9\16 we gave birth (well ok....we and the bank) to a bouncing baby scooter, 600 lbs 1100 cc Yamaha v-star Classic. My lovely wife was at a garage sale and complemented the man of the house on his bike...and he said "It's for sale", well to make a long story short... I rode it home monday. Its a 00' with 256 miles. Of course I have corrected that mileage deficiency...(it now has 1084) and am lovin every minute. Had to pull the carbs and clean out all the varnish from sitting...(good excuse for new jets and needles) and the baffles in the pipes....I lost them somewhere!?! will post pics soon....been to busy riding. d
ps... Retro I updated the mileage contest accordingly. D

| Retro | Congrats D! It's always nice to find a great deal at a garage sale  ! Did the guy ride it home from the dealership and then just let it sit? Most us us have put 600 miles on a bike in a day or two!

| FXSB | Must be that time of year, I'm on my way to pick up Mistress 2 to add to my Harem LOL. She is a 2003 Softail Standard. They always say men want women 19 to 20 years younger then the one they have. I guess they are right.LOL I'll post pictures when I can.

| bjojr | Congradulations, that's a great lookin scoot! I've never been much for the current popular "FAT" look cruisers, always thought the "chopper" styled machines looked "right"! Don't know if I'll ever own another cruiser but yours would certainly be the "style" if I ever do!
