Ride To Cassoday, KS - 10/06/02
Retro	The monthly Cassoday ride is coming up on Sunday the 6th. As it stands right now, B and I are planning on going. If anyone else is interesting in coming along, we can meet at the Krispy Kreme at 101st and Metcalf at 7:00am (yes...I said 7am). That way we can get there around 9:15 and check out all the bikes. We'll stop in Emporia afterwards and grab some lunch as a group before heading back. Dusty, please feel free to invite the group from work. It's a 2 hour ride down and then coming back ends up being around a 3 hour ride on the backroads. Let us know if you're planning on coming so we can make sure we wait for everyone at Krispy Kreme before heading out. Ride safe! KCLu	You guys have fun, and if you have any miles left in ya when ya get back, head out to Midway, I'll be there. Oh, did I mention that MGD, Miller, and Miller Lite are a buck fitty on Sundays? Retro	Nah...the last time we rode it is really the only time the wind has really been that bad. All the other times, it has been a great ride. I figure that if it's windy after lunch, we'll just head back on 35 and avoid the crosswinds. Anyone else gonna make it? Ride safe! kc_harley	Hey, I sure want to go if she doesn't have anything planned for me?? Pretty sure I can make it!!?? My oldest has leave starting that weekend, but he's stopping in St Louis that Sat for a dive, sooo don't think he'll get home till that afternoon!!??
Retro	He's not doing that cave dive over there is he? I've wanted to do that one for years, but never quite got around to it. Retro	I really need to get my logbooks out and get over there and do the dive. Everyone I know who has ever done it says it's one of the most incredible dives around 100' visibility and warm water! http://www.2dive.com/ Ride safe! I'll probably be working this weekend, so won't be able to make it myself (have to makeup time for those DW classes later this week). Retro	KC_Harley, I hope you get this message before you leave. It looks like neither B or I are going to be able to make this. B hurt his back today and I just discovered a rather large exhaust leak that has been causing backfires through my exhaust. To add insult to injury, one of the exhaust bolts is cross-threaded. I worked on it tonight (actually this morning) to try and fix it, but I think this one may take a bit of work. Sorry about the last minute notice...email me or post here that you got the message.
