John BennettWhy mess with perfection? Of course I'm speaking of the KLR 650. Sometimes I wish I wouldn't have sold mine. Basically unchanged since 1987. Stone ax simple. This year's MSRP is $4,999. These things are like the old Honda 750's. I seriously considering chopping my 1988 before I sold it. I paid $1200 for it in 1995 and sold it this year for $1200. That big 'ol single cylinder was like riding a real motorcycle. Chuga Chuga Chuga. It would just chug down the road all day and night. ==========================================

Sometimes I don't know about "Mother Kawasaki", here they go and put "Fuel Injection" and bump up the motor on the 1500 Vulcan's but the leave the Concours, which is suppose to be a "sport-tourer", with carbs and the same motor since 1987??? I tell's ya, us ST riders just don't get "no respect"! Ride Often & Enjoy Life More! BJ Ondo 95 ZG1000 Concours Colorado Springs, CO.
