| Some Changes Around The Forum |
| Retro | Just wanted to let everyone know that I am going to be upgrading the forum to the next version over the next week or so. This version will provide us with some extra built in features and has substantially faster load times and search capabilities. This version also has features that make it more difficult to hack the forum.
While the changes are taking place, you might log in and notice that the Private Messages, Online Users, and Chatroom links are missing. Those are mods that I have to add on afterward. In addition, your private photo galleries might be inaccessible (although they will still exist and your sig pics will show up fine). I'll keep you updated as the changes are made.

| Retro | Okay...the first change has been made.
In case you didn't read the cryptic post between King and I, the forum was hacked this morning. Basically, a friendly visitor from Turkey decided that they wanted to play and they set up a spamming script that created about 15 different accounts that posted around 4000 garbage messages within 20 minutes. Basically, their goal was to pound the server until is shut down. Luckily, I caught them in the act and turned off the forum before they could do any real damage.
Their IP address has been blocked and a new feature has been implemented to stop this type of scripting. Basically, the forum will require you to wait a few seconds between posts. So.....if you are speed-poster, you might see a message that slows you down a bit. Bear with it....it's for the good of the forum  .
